About Aurelie Languages | Native-Speaking Language Teachers in Ireland
"Languages are for everyone. No matter your background or experience, you can learn to speak a new language. at Aurelie Languages, you can also enjoy the journey!"

— Aurélie Le Moine, Founder

About me

I came to Ireland for three months. That was over 20 years ago.

My name is Aurélie Le Moine. I grew up on a farm in Brittany, France, and came to Ireland on a work placement with Bank of Ireland — just to improve my English. Three months turned into twenty years, and I couldn't be happier about it.

After working in business and giving French lessons part-time, I decided to train as a fully qualified language teacher, specialising in French, Spanish and English. Over the years, I've taught in secondary schools, community colleges, public libraries, the European Commission, and through the State Examinations Commission. What began as a passion for sharing language has grown into Aurelie Languages — a full school offering French, Spanish, Italian and German to learners right across Ireland.

Every teacher we work with is a native speaker, because I believe real language learning goes far beyond grammar drills. It's about confidence, culture and genuine connection. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, or a primary school teacher looking to upskill — there's a course here for you.

The Primary Upskilling programme starts for teachers who have already reached level A2.1 — roughly Leaving Cert Higher Level. No matter how long ago, it does come back! To help you get back on your language learning journey, we have divided the programme into 6 courses: A2.1, A2.2, A2.3, Transition A2 to B1, B1.1 and B1.2.
We currently offer CPD upskilling in French, Spanish, Italian and German. All courses are delivered online via Zoom, so teachers from any county in Ireland can take part.
