    Aurelie Languages applies a standardised remuneration model for language-teaching positions to support fairness, transparency, and consistency across the organisation.

    4. NATIVE-SPEAKER TEACHING MODEL

    Aurelie Languages specialises in native-speaker language instruction.

    As part of its educational methodology, an essential occupational requirement for language-teaching positions is native-speaker competence in the language being taught.

    Examples include:

    • Native French speakers teaching French

    • Native Spanish speakers teaching Spanish

    • Native German speakers teaching German

    • Native Italian speakers teaching Italian

    • Native Hiberno-English speakers teaching English on the Ireland geographical market

    • Native Gaeilge speakers teaching Gaeilge

    This requirement reflects the pedagogical model of Aurelie Languages and is applied consistently across all language-teaching recruitment processes.

    The requirement relates to native-speaker competence in the target language and is independent of nationality, citizenship, ethnic origin, or place of residence.

    5. PAY DETERMINATION CRITERIA

    Language Teachers

    For language-teaching positions, recruitment decisions may consider:

    • native-speaker competence in the language taught,

    • language-teaching qualifications,

    • teaching experience,

    • educational expertise,

    • curriculum-development experience,

    • educational resource-development experience,

    • examination-preparation expertise,

    • online-teaching capability,

    • professional suitability for the role.

    While these criteria may be considered when selecting teachers, all teachers appointed by Aurelie Languages are remunerated at the standard language-teacher rate of €37.74 per hour gross. All teachers, no matter their location in the world, must hold (or create with the Irish Revenue) an Irish Personal Public Service Number to work at Aurelie Languages.

    Non-Teaching Positions

    For non-teaching roles, remuneration varies according to:

    • educational qualifications,

    • professional experience,

    • specialist expertise,

    • role responsibilities,

    • management duties,

    • project requirements,

    • market conditions.

    The minimum rate paid by Aurelie Languages shall not be lower than the applicable Irish National Minimum Wage.

    As of June 2026:

    Minimum starting rate: €14.15 per hour gross

    Typical examples include:

    • administrative support,

    • clerical assistance,

    • project support,

    • customer service functions,

    • entry-level operational roles.

    More specialised or senior positions may attract higher rates based on the objective criteria outlined above.

    Aurelie Languages encourage their staff to continue Professional Development by increasing the rate of pay and/or hours offered as qualifications are earned.
